The European directory of bailiffs is expanding!

The CEHJ won a European co-financing of EUR 361 940 euros (80% of the total budget) to expand, initially, the Directory to Italian and Bulgarian Bailiffs. The two-year project will also enable the organization of 5 conferences (2 in Brussels and 3  respectively in Bulgaria, Italy and Sweden) to raise awareness among National representative of bodies of enforcement agents on the importance to join the Directory, which is complementary to the European Judicial Atlas.

In fact, the European directory of Bailiffs will provide the contact details of Bailiffs/enforcement agents to facilitate the enforcement of Court decisions abroad and the application of the new European regulation “European account preservation order ” which entered into force on January 17, 2017.

As mentioned in the objectives of the e-Justice 2014-2018 action plan, the European directory of bailiffs will be integrated, once consolidated, into the European Commission e-Justice portal.
