Editorial

The European Chamber of Judicial Officers/ Bailiffs is a representative body of the Judicial Officer/ Bailiff profession to the European institutions.

Created in April 2012, it participates to the consolidation of the European area of justice by the drafting of position papers, the management of projects and the development of technical tools at the benefit of citizens and companies.

The CEHJ contributes to the improvement of the knowledge of European law by Judicial Officers/ Bailiffs and of the sharing of professional good practices.

We are involved in projects at European level not only to promote the place and the role of judicial officers/bailiffs in the civil society, but also to bring to the citizens, businesses and the European institutions, our experience of new technologies in the development of contemporary legal instruments.

Our proposals

Convinced that the  legal professionals can  provide a significant contribution in the elaboration of  European instruments, we are participating to it by the creation of specialized working groups who draft concrete proposals in position papers, or by answering to calls of proposals of the European Commission.
